Heidi Grokking Brackettville Sheep

It's not often things are so green and lush in our neck of the woods. But it's been unusually wet this year and for that we grateful. This is Heidi, my sister in law, grokking Robert's sheep. She and my bro, Jeff, aren't normally much for outside. Nor are they fans of mud, dirt, stink, and the droppings of various farm animals. But I snagged a baby goat, how I wish I had pictures, and thrust it into her arms. She was instantly in love and although it was a filthy, dung covered thing it simply didn't matter. She was transformed into a nature Goddess with that little baby in her arms.

Robert's Animals -- Agriculture in Brackettville, Texas

Hubby asked if I'd like to go along for the ride when he headed north of town to feed Robert's goats. I grabbed my camera and hopped in the truck. I'm eager to shoot them some more. They make for interesting subjects! I'm hoping to shoot them at this particular location again this winter because Robert leaves heat lamps on for the babies and it's very surreal looking at night with those lights hanging just a couple of feet off the ground with a swarm of baby goats or sheep underneath them.
