A cloudy horizon for Brackettville

I went out to shoot the full moon (I think it will technically be full around midnight tonight) but there were clouds on the horizon and the shot below was the best I got. I ended up doing a 180 and shooting the sunset instead.

I love your cemetery shots, Genie! They remind me of my youth, I'd often go sit in the cemetery, and just "be." hmmm, I'm sure someone can analyze that!!

Again these are stunning shots Genie, well done!!

No analysis needed there, Jean, where else can one be surrounded by people without having to put up with them? And thank you!

Thank you Bob, you're a real inspiration, although I think I've gone as far as I can go at this point when it comes to shooting the celestial.... unless Santa is very kind to me this year.

The top one reminds me of Stonehenge for some reason - the arrangement of trees and background and the little bench. Nice swirls of color on the sun flare, clouds and cross :) For what was probably a relatively still scenario, lots of motion in this pic. Nice!

Oh, Bry, to be at Stonehenge.... wouldn't that be something?

Thanks for your comments! I loved what the clouds were doing out there that day.
