These Moonflowers only open at night. I shot these just as the sun was setting and, really, I'd lost the light. I'll have to try again sometime when it's just a little cooler and they open earlier. They smell AMAZING and attract moths the size of small birds. It's something to see! When they are fully open, they're the size of dessert plates.
It's so hot here in Brackettville, it's a struggle to get these delicate flowers to survive.

Genie, your moonflowers are beautiful! Our Jimson weed opens morning and evening, but they do look very similar.
