After much much rain in our normally very water-deprived area, we had mushrooms like I've never seen before popping up all over the place. These looked like daisies!

For someone who doesn't have much experience as a "photographer," you seem to be on the right track. Some of this stuff is really great. And you may not feel like you are a kid person, but they seem to respond well to you. The pictures of the kid over the stove are especially great.
Photography is one of the arts that I wish I had gotten into. Of course, I am young and there is plenty of time to do that. But knowing how I am, I'll want to dedicate as much attention to it as possible if I go that route, and right now I simply don't have that kind of time.
Thanks for stopping through my blog and leaving a comment. I am going to be keeping an eye on yours.
Genie, these mushrooms are amazing! I've never seen anything like them. And, we have had over 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours - so you might find another strange patch of something growing!
Love your blog, post more often for us.
